Relais De L'Entrecote, Saint Germain

I went back to Le Relais De L'Entrecote at Saint Germain (20, rue Saint-Benoît) thanks to a last minute trip to Paris. I wanted to give it a second chance, after the huge disappointment of last November. Fortunately, they listened to us, and I assume it is thanks to the pressure from our distinguished readers. They have gone back to the original formula: the salad dressing was exquisite, the french fries perfect, and the meat´s sauce the same as always. Obviously they have suffered the consequences of their stupid experiment of trying to improve on perfection, because the line to get in was minuscule, a signal that the regulars have given up. They will come back. So will we.
